JH Earth & Space Sciences Research Project Overview
You are becoming a scientist and designer.
Panicking is not rational at this point because I haven't given you details; this document is an overview.
Your job is to research a real scientific topic, then show your understanding by creating an infographic.
This project is to be done independently, which means you are responsible for your individual work.
It is not independent in the sense of “figure it out by yourself.”
I will be teaching and supporting - every step of the way - that’s why I’m here.
Each section must be completed and approved before moving on.
Make bulleted lists throughout the planning process - this is what I will be checking.
No, you can’t use your planning documents as your final project.
No, I will not answer your question right now because I know what you're going to ask; your answers are going to come out of my mouth organically if you're paying attention.
Purpose

Show how scientists learned about it.
Use evidence from reliable sources.

Explain how scientists know what they know.
Make connections to real life.
Follow your Project Planning Checklist.
Once all sections are approved, you will unlock the build phase.
Your poster must:
Have a rough draft on normal paper - brainstorm where items will fit on the poster.
Represent a scientific process or structure.
Be accurate, not just decorative.
Help someone else understand the science.
Match what you researched.
Your model must:
Represent the scientific process or structure that you researched.
Be accurate, not just decorative.
